Gustama Dimas

Hardware engineer and IT generalist. I repair computers for a living and run a home lab for the fun of it — mostly to find out how far consumer hardware can be pushed before it complains.

I hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (GPA 3.05 / 4.00) and I'm certified in the Google IT Support Professional Specialization. In practice that means board-level diagnosis, component-level repair, and the unglamorous work of keeping machines cool, clean, and alive well past the point their warranty suggested.

I work out of Semarang, where the Opo-Tech workshop occupies what used to be the garage at home — one bench, one microscope, and more thermal paste than is strictly reasonable. The rest of my time goes into computer networking, self-hosted services, and photo/videography.

I still keep a foothold in Yogyakarta: I studied there, bought a house, and rent out rooms in it. That is where the kos is.
